Course length: The total program is 6 hours, including short breaks, 30 minutes for lunch, and participant testing and evaluation.
Room set-up: Teaching room set up to allow participants to take notes and engage in conversation with each other, screen and computer projector, refreshments and meal availability.
Farm Disaster Preparation Certificate slide set: The Farm Disaster Preparation Certificate program is taught using a combination of a standard, graphic-oriented slide set, questions and responses, testimonials and stories from the participants, and examples and case studies from the instructors.
Class size: Classes range from at least 8 up to 40 participants. Our optimum class size is 18 or so people, to allow for diversity and discussion. Each class has its own character, based on the background and interests of the participants.
